Supportive and Transformative Online Therapy in Colorado!

Welcome to Online Therapy in Colorado: Your Safe, Convenient, and Effective Solution

Are you a busy mom trying to juggle work, kids, and personal time? Or maybe you’re a high-performing professional who only has a lunch break to squeeze in some self-care? Perhaps you're dealing with relationship conflicts, insecurities, or just want to test the waters with a therapist in Colorado before committing to in-person sessions. I get it—life can be demanding, and finding time for therapy shouldn’t be another stressor. That’s why online therapy is such a fantastic option for many people in Colorado.

As both a client and a therapist, I’ve come to love the flexibility and comfort that online therapy offers. Imagine having a space curated just for you—whether it's curled up under a cozy blanket with a cup of tea or finding a quiet corner in your home where you can truly be yourself. You don’t have to worry about how you look or rushing out the door to make it on time. You can process what’s going on in your life in a safe and secure environment, free from distractions or stress.

It takes time to travel places in Colorado!

Since moving from the Midwest to Colorado Springs, I've realized how much of a challenge getting around can be. One minute, your commute takes 20 minutes, and the next, you're stuck on I-25, weaving through traffic for 40 minutes and worrying about being late for your session. It’s not exactly a stress-free start to therapy! Online therapy removes these barriers, allowing you to focus solely on your mental health and well-being.

Whether you are in Northern Colorado, Central Springs, Denver, Monument, or anywhere across the state, online therapy offers a convenient and accessible way to get the support you need. It’s just as effective as in-person therapy, and I've seen many clients achieve positive outcomes through online sessions. So, if you’re looking for a way to prioritize your mental health without the added hassle of travel and logistics, online therapy might be the perfect fit for you. Let’s create a space where you feel empowered, supported, and ready to grow—right from the comfort of your own home.

I'm dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking to address a variety of mental health concerns. Whether you're struggling with grief, relationship issues, or anxiety, I'm here to help you navigate life's challenges.

How to prepare for your online therapy session in Colorado?

Online therapy has become an accessible norm post covid. I know some people prefer in person therapy, and I get that. One day I hope to have an in person office, and in terms of being accessible, online therapy in Colorado is a great alternative for busy professionals, single moms, couples, college students and so much more. There is a benefit to be able to log onto a therapy portal with a supportive online therapist who is there to spend dedicated time with you in a space curated to your liking. However, if you are new to online therapy or maybe you’re trying it again, I want to offer some tips to personalize it and make it private so you feel safe and secure?

  • Tip 1: Get an air purifier, white noise machine, or fan. Set the vibe and allow any outside noises to be as muted as possible so you cannot hear outside and no one can hear inside.

  • Tip 2: Settle yourself in a space that feels comfortable and safe for you. That could be a bedroom, office, or maybe even a park where you have some privacy.

  • Tip 3: Make sure you have a secure internet connection, nothing is worse than when you are trying to talk to your therapist and your internet kicks you out of your zoom room or you freeze in the midst of an emotional story.

  • Tip 4: Get noise cancelling head phones: Let this be a time that you focus just on your!

  • Tip 5: Write down what you want to talk about from the week. You don’t always need to have an agenda, but it can help you to orient what thoughts, questions, or concerns have come up during a session. I see many people come into session and say “ so much happened, but I feel like I don’t know where to start”. This can help you breath and find direction. If not, I am really good at tracking stories and helping you orient your thoughts.

A Note on Age and Experience in Therapy

While age and experience can be important factors in choosing a therapist, it's essential to prioritize the therapist's qualifications, therapeutic approach, and the quality of the therapeutic relationship.

At Black Bold Learning Therapy, I believe that a therapist's ability to connect with and support their clients is more important than their age. I have experience working with individuals of all ages, from teenagers to those in their 60s.

Despite my younger age, I have successfully worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I have found that my therapeutic approach, combined with my own life experiences, has enabled me to provide effective support and guidance to individuals seeking help.

If you're unsure about whether I'm the right therapist for you, I encourage you to schedule a 30-minute consultation. This will give you an opportunity to get to know me better and see if we're a good fit.

Remember, the most important factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. If you feel comfortable and supported by your therapist, you're more likely to achieve positive outcomes.
